Last weekend I was fortunate enough to see Bonnie Prince Billy up at the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine. Amazingly, somebody has already posted a video from the show! Despite the fact that there was a yawning gap between us and the stage, occupied by a casual arrangement of lounging diners, and that someone from the venue jammed the door next to us open, so it felt like we were watching from inside a fridge...it was a really beautiful gig.
This was one of my favourite songs from the show, too.
I did spend a lot of time wondering how he copes with eating and drinking with that amazing moustache...
What a great sound.
